Chez Stadium has contributed a recording to the upcoming release, Hope of the Hour - A Tribute to Portland's Dharma Bums. The track features lead vocals by guitarist Grant Cumpston. Stay tuned for a release date!
While the 'Bums were a 'Portland' band, they were Willamette Valley-bred. Chez Stadium bassist Pete Lampe and I hail from Salem, Oregon and have fond recollections of performances by the earlier projects of those Marion County boys (Watchmen, Perfect Circle). I saw the Watchmen perform at a church basement show, Perfect Circle at Satyricon. If memory serves, I met Pete Lampe at a house party where he was playing in Eric Lovre's Wall of Justice project.
